Hunter Ridge is a small lesson, boarding and show stable. We offer excellent
care at very reasonable rates. Our resident trainer, Robin Johnson, has over 20 years experience as a riding instructor.
She offers a personable lesson atmosphere and allows you to progress at your own pace and move toward your own personal
goals. Although we have a number of junior riders, she specializes in adult riders that rode earlier in their life and
have decided to get back into riding and showing.
If you are interested in lessons we have private
and semi-private lessons available on your horse or on one of our wonderful school horses. For those that are interested
in showing, we regularly attend both local and rated shows. Hauling and training to shows is also available.
- Lessons are 1/2 hour in length once a week
- Private lessons are $165/ Month
- Two
private lessons a week $300/ Month
- Semi Private lessons are also
1/2 hour in length
- Semi Private lessons are $145/ Month per
person
- If you would like to take multiple lessons per week, a reduced
rate is available.
- Lessons start at age 6
- Lessons are available Tuesday through Thursday in both the morning and evening
and Friday on Mornings only in Upper Marlboro
- Lessons are available Monday
and Friday evenings in St. Leonard.
