Lorraine and Dino ( Show name Unscripted)
Lorraine has been at Hunter Ridge since its beginning in 1995. She has owned Dino since he was a yearling.
He is a 5 yr old by Sir Caletto. He is famous for causing trouble and is an expert at opening stall doors. Lorraine
also has two Boston Terriers Sluggo and Shamu, they are often seen playing ball in the indoor.
Rachel and her two horses
Daryl and Dexter
Rachel has been with Hunter Ridge since she was teenager.
She had some great years on her faithful companion Daryl
( Show name Redford)
who is a 24 year young QH. He is still trucking around the show ring and does some part time work as a beginner lesson
horse. She also has a new horse Dexter, a really cute promising jumper with lots of chrome. Kiwi her rescued Jack Russell
can be seen around the barn, challenging the horses as they go by with his ferocious bark.
Julie and Regal ( show
name Manhattan)
Julie has been with Hunter Ridge for 5 years. She has the
beautiful Rugged Lark grandson Regal. She also has a very enegetic dog named Rudder. Rudder is a pound
puppy that she got last summer. Regal has a had some setbacks this year, but is on the mend and will be dominating
in the show ring again soon.
Maddie and Buttons
Maddie
has been with Hunter Ridge for about 7 yrs. She started off with her pony Happy Camper and has since graduated to Mr.
Perfect, Buttons . Buttons show name is Sinatra ( he has a blue eye). Buttons is such a great dependable horse
and we all adore him. Happy is still at the farm and his new job is the walk trot lesson pony specialist.
Milo ( show name Mondavi)
Milo came to our farm about four years ago. He was owned by Lena Yates, when she left for college, I purchased
him as a school horse. Milo is a cute horse with somewhat of a grumpy exterior. He is a fabulous lesson and show
horse. On any given weekend you can hear him winning tons of ribbons in the walk division through the Pre Adults.
Ellen and Spike
Ellen
came to us about a year ago from Colorado. She and Spike have been together for quite some time, they can be seen riding
in the ring with Fessick trucking right behind them. Fessick is a funny dog who tends to be a little forgetful but very
sweet. Sadly Ellen and Spike have recently relocated to Virginia Beach due to her new marraige.
Emily and Aspen
Emily just recently purchased Aspen. He is a well mannered likeable fellow. They are starting
to show in the low level jumpers. They are rapidly progressing and are moving up in the jumper divisions.
The Griffin Family - Beth, Ashley, Christy and Charlie
The Griffin family have been riding for about 3 years. They have a horse Lilly that
they love dearly. Lilly is a retired show horse that was given to us by an old student of mine. The girls also
show Milo at times and work on the weekends. They are extremely helpful and love hanging around the barn and doing barn
chores.
Teri Marlowe and Jaxon
Teri has been riding with me since she was about 10 yrs old. She took a break from riding and now is back into
it in a big way! She has a very nice horse Jaxon, Show name Walk the Line, they occasionally show in both the hunters
and jumpers. Her husband Shaun and her son Dray both ride also, they have many rescued animals including a horse, many
fostered and rescued dogs. She has a doggie daycare and grooming business but also helps out at the barn on the weekends.
